Rule Number 1. Every effort bears a fruit.
Rule number 2. If it doesn’t refer to rule Number 1.
Absolutely, when chips are down and you must push the bar higher and take your fair/ unfair chances, you must tell yourself that every effort bears a fruit. I took some chances yesterday, results were mixed, I was undecided since 3:00 PM yesterday and it took me 32 hours to make up my mind about this post. My conclusion – Erring on the side of caution is a very serious business, you may think you are prepared for the worst, but in reality you may not be. As the things stand, I was not prepared for partial setback I got yesterday, i am sure next time in similar circumstances I would take the opposite call. The fruit of the effort and the call which I took yesterday is that I know that the depth of even a partial failure can shock your soul and raise questions about efficacy of your decision making.

Erring on the side of caution is dangerous business, it is best avoided and can lead to a totally avoidable misadventure.

Because some Battles Must Be Won.
